Uniquely created as the first and only event exclusively for the disabled in South Africa, the Outeniqua Chair Challenge (OCC) has gone from strength to strength. Set in the beautiful town of George, the Challenge takes entrants through the spectacular Garden Route in the Western Cape, with magnificent views of the Outeniqua Mountains.
Over the years, the OCC has grown to become the premier event for disabled athletes in South Africa. Those in racing wheelchairs, adapted bicycles, hand cycles, basketball chairs and ordinary wheelchairs are all welcome to experience what is quickly becoming one of the best events in the whole world.
As they prepare for the next event, held on 24 February 2024, the OCC has sent iX a framed gift, thanking us for our support. iX has been a sponsor for the Outeniqua Chair Challenge since 2022 and we look forward to continuing our support for many years to come.
